We’re supporting a well-established organisation in recruiting an HR Officer to provide vital administrative and payroll support, alongside absence casework. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, detail-focused, and looking to develop further in HR.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing HR administration including maintaining accurate employee records.
- Supporting monthly payroll preparation and liaising with payroll providers.
- Monitoring absence trends and leading absence investigations in line with policy.
- Producing HR metrics and reports to support decision-making.
- Acting as the first point of contact for employee queries.
About you:
- Previous experience as an HR Officer, HR Coordinator, or Administrator with payroll exposure.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of HR systems and strong Excel capability.
- Confident handling sensitive employee issues such as absence management.
- Excellent communication skills and a solutions-focused approach.
