The role
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll collaborate with Business Unit/Functional Directors and line managers to deliver a high-quality, proactive HR service across their business units and the organisation.
Day-to-day, you’ll
- Oversee one or more business areas, providing HR operational guidance on day-to-day matters, and acting as a role model for Babcock Purpose and Principles.
- Coach and challenge line managers/leaders while developing relationships.
- Create HR value with insights for line management through data and trends.
- Support the design and execution of HR policy, change programs, strategic HR initiatives, and projects across the business area of responsibility.
- Ensure line management is aware of all HR initiatives.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with two days in the office and remaining days working from home, based in Warrington, Cheshire.
Essential experience of the HR Business Partner:
- Experience in a HRBP role within a large organization, handling complex HR issues and projects.
- Demonstrates robust industrial and employee relation skills.
- Strong knowledge of employment law.
- Experience working within a unionized environment.
- Natural communicator, adept at influencing and forging relationships across the business area for effective collaboration.
Qualifications for the HR Business Partner:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
