Hours: 16 hours per week (any two days in seven, regular weekend work, flexibility required)

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support in leading a team of professional housekeeping staff, ensuring that our guest bedrooms and public areas are serviced to the highest standards.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Preparing daily worksheets for housekeeping team members as per the rota, ensuring the correct allocation of rooms and ensuring rooms are prioritised as required.
- Overseeing the work of the Housekeeping Assistants, Public Area Cleaners and Linen Porters and taking proactive and suitable corrective action to ensure the hotel’s high standards are maintained.
- Reviewing guestrooms on a daily basis to ensure excellent standards and to check furnishings and equipment are clean and in good repair.
- Acting on guest requests and special requirements where necessary to ensure we exceed guest expectations.
- Assisting in maintaining records of rotas, payroll sheets, overtime, extra payments, absences and holidays.
- Checking staffing levels on a weekly / daily basis to ensure the team is adequately staffed.
- Checking all vacant and occupied rooms daily to ensure they are presented to the standards expected by the hotel.
You should have previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor ideally within a hotel environment, excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills and the ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with staff at all levels and to put the guest at the heart of everything you do.
