Job Summary
The Golden Pheasant Burford has just completed a major refurbishment and the 18 bedrooms and public areas have all been individually designed with fabrics and soft furnishings and we are set to become of the Cotswolds leading boutique inns. We know seek to strengthen our team with a Housekeeping Supervisor who will paly a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the inn. This position is responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed to the highest standards, and providing exceptional service to enhance the guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a focus on cleanliness and attention to detail. The role is Monday to Friday primarily however there maybe occasional weekend work.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned according to established standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and high-quality service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Implement and maintain effective cleaning procedures,.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the inn.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
