We're recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our fabulous team at Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield.
What you'll be doing
Supporting our Head Housekeeper, and taking the reins in her absence, you’ll have experience in supervising and managing a team, and your main duties will be:
- Inspecting guest bedrooms to make sure they are cleaned to Company standards
- In conjunction with the Head Housekeeper, organising rotas and ordering linen and other supplies
- Supporting the housekeeping team with any required training
- Cleaning guest bedrooms, ensuring all areas are spotless and well presented in line with Company standards
- Change bed linens, replace towels and replenish toiletries
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors
- Cleaning toilets, dusting furniture and ensuring our public areas and guest facilities are clean and sparkling
What we're looking for
- Ideally you will have previous housekeeping supervisor experience in a similar property or a commercial cleaning background
- You will have a great sense of humour, welcoming personality and a strong customer service ethic.
- The role can be physically demanding as you will be moving housekeeping trollies, making beds and removing room service trays back to the Kitchen area
This is a 40 hour contract working any 5 days over 7 and you can expect to be working a variety of shifts including weekends.
