Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an eye for detail, making it essential for those who take pride in their work.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or commercial cleaning environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic cooking skills would be advantageous but not mandatory.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
