Storrs Hall is a spectacular Grade II listed Georgian Mansion Hotel, with a beautiful location and stunning grounds, on the shores of Lake Windermere. Offering both an award-winning fine dining restaurant and a contemporary Bistro, that deliver a range of culinary delights and an impressive wine selection. Due to growth, we are now looking for an additional House Keeping Assistant to join our fun and friendly team, that are focused on providing an exemplary level of service. Main Tasks of Job Include:
- Clean guest accommodation and site facilities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures
- Comply with all record keeping requirements.
- Use of cleaning products, maintaining statutory awareness and understanding of COSHH requirements.
- Count dirty linen and count and put away clean linen daily.
- Report any maintenance requirements.
- Keep all housekeeping and cleaning stock secure.
- Take a proactive and flexible approach to duties.
Person Specification:
- Work well in a team.
- A good eye for detail with a passion for delivering very high standards of customer service.
- Able to prioritise own workload.
- Excellent time keeping and task completion.
- Reliable, honest, motivated, enthusiastic and proactive.
- Experience of working in Housekeeping in the Hospitality sector (desirable).
- Experience of working with cleaning rota’s and conducting deep cleaning (desirable).
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- The ability to operate standard cleaning equipment (essential)
- Present a professional image and wear uniform provided
- Deliver high standards of cleanliness.
- Work to tight deadlines.
