Summary
We are seeking dedicated a Female Homecare Worker based in Gorleston to join our compassionate team at Cavell Healthcare. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals in their daily lives, promoting independence and well-being while delivering personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
- Encourage independence by promoting self-care and decision-making among service users.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families through effective communication and empathy.
- Accurately document care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families.
- A compassionate approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of clients.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Shift patterns
- 7am-2pm
- 4pm-10pm
- Alternative weekends are a requirement
- Contracted hours available
Rates of pay
- £12.72 during the week
- £13.78 at weekends
- £15.90 bank holidays
- Paid travel time
- Paid mileage
