Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hod Carrier to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in supporting bricklayers, with proficiency in handling and transporting materials, mixing mortar, and maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
Duties
- Assist bricklayers by providing necessary materials such as bricks, mortar, and tools
- Mix and prepare mortar using appropriate tools and techniques
- Transport and load/unload materials to and from the worksite efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed
- Adhere to safety standards and building codes at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hod Carrier or in a similar labour-intensive role
- CSCS Card
- Registered as Self Employed CIS
- Proficiency in handling and mixing mortar using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of masonry materials and construction site safety practices
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm (with the first day induction at 7:30 am)
