High Level Support – Team Member (Electrical)
Location: Teesside, Middlesbrough, TS6
Salary: £36,354 + 30% Shift Allowance
Hours: Full-time | 42 hours per week
Shifts: 4 on / 4 off – 12-hour shifts (Days and Nights)
Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Craftsperson to join a high-performing Engineering Department in a leading industrial manufacturing environment based in Teesside.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in highly mechanised and automated operations, with a strong focus on electrical maintenance and asset reliability. This role plays a key part in the day-to-day running of engineering systems, reporting directly to the Shift Engineering Team Leader and working under the guidance of the Shift Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance tasks to ensure operational reliability across the site.
- Respond to arising electrical issues with speed and technical accuracy.
- Follow and uphold robust health and safety procedures, in line with company and legislative requirements.
- Identify hazards and proactively implement area-specific safety measures.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Skills & Qualifications
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
- Holds relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC, or NVQ).*
- Proven experience in:
- Preventative maintenance
- Electrical inspection work
- Breakdown diagnosis and recovery
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes in a heavy industrial setting.
- Hands-on expertise in modern electrical maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency with computer-based maintenance systems (e.g., SAP).
- Must be able to provide certification evidence upon request.
