Blencowe Scaffolding is looking for a reliable, qualified HIAB Driver to join our growing logistics team. You’ll be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of scaffolding materials to and from our sites using a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). This is a hands-on role that’s key to the smooth running of our projects across London and the South West.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HIAB vehicle to load, deliver, and offload scaffold equipment
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure safe operation at all times
- Communicate clearly with site teams and logistics coordinators
- Follow all road safety, site safety, and lifting regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of vehicle
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Class 2 / Category C)
- Valid HIAB certificate
- CPC Qualification & Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience delivering to construction or scaffold sites
- Good awareness of load security and safe lifting practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Positive, professional attitude
Desirable (but not essential):
- Forklift or yard experience
- Scaffold background or knowledge of equipment
