We are now looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Tanker Driver.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a specialist vacuum tanker to load and safely transport and dispose of liquid waste materials safely and efficiently.
The role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
Candidate must have experience of operating a vacuum tanker and jetting units. As well as knowledge and understanding of septic tanks, cess pits and waste systems.
Working knowledge of waste disposal sites would be beneficial.
Job role duties:
· Responsible for safely and efficiently driving a Vacuum tanker to transport liquid waste materials from customer locations to designated disposal sites.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations regarding the transportation and disposal of liquid waste.
· Maintain accurate records for each job
· Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers
· Clean and maintain the tanker truck and related equipment regularly
· Ensure proper loading and unloading of liquid waste materials
· Plan and execute the most efficient routes to customer location and disposal sites.
You must ensure you keep accurate driving records, and adhere to driving hours using a tachograph.
Candidates must have:
- A full, clean driving licence.
- At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience in a similar role
- Hold a valid CPC certificate
- Have a digital tachograph card
