Danco are an industry leading provider of marquees, pavilions & temporary structures, with a distinguished portfolio of clients.
Due to our continued success, growth and expansion of our fleet, we are now looking to recruit Level a 3 Qualified Mechanic to join our small team.
The successful applicant will be working directly with the Workshop Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair:
- Vehicle inspections.
- Trailer Inspections.
- General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.
- Reactive maintenance as required.
- MOT preparation & presentation.
- Fault finding and Diagnosis.
- Working to DVSA standards.
Key Competencies:
- Be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
- LGV licence C + E
- Able to work as part of a small team or independently.
Summer Hours - Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:45
Winter Hours - Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45, Friday 08:00 to 15:45
Christmas / New Year - 8 days paid shutdown
