We have recently made a significant investment in a cutting-edge 4-bay workshop, equipped with top-of-the-line facilities such as an HGV inspection pit, break tester, MOT testing bay and lorry lift. Now, we are expanding our team and seeking an exceptional HGV/LCV Workshop Technician to join us at our operational hub in Plympton.
The Role
We value motivated and reliable individuals who take pride in their work. As an HVG/LCV Workshop Technician, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to our commercial vehicle maintenance and repair operations. From diagnosing and fault-finding on vehicles and trailers to performing vehicle inspections and carrying out general servicing, pre-planned maintenance, and reactive maintenance, your skills will be put to the test. This position also comes with the benefit use of a company vehicle.
To thrive in this role as a HGV/LCV Workshop Fitter, you’ll need a full valid driving license and be entrusted with several key activities that will showcase your expertise and abilities to make a lasting impact, including:
- Undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Diagnose and fault find on vehicles and trailers.
- Complete Vehicle inspections.
- Complete general servicing and pre-planned maintenance as well as reactive maintenance.
- Complete MOT preparation.
- Undertake small plant maintenance and repairs.
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
