As an HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver (e.g. 16 pallets over three days), you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various destinations, making multiple deliveries throughout the day to our own regular customers. This role requires a valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license and a good understanding of road safety regulations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Completing multiple drop deliveries of pallets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Tramping position with regular nights out
- Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
- Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness
- Adhere to tachograph regulations and working time directives.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
- Hold a full up to date Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- ADR preferred but training can be given
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Excellent driving skills and have no more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of loading and unloading goods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
The Package
- £14.79per hour (First 38 hours, which are guaranteed. Anticipated weekly hours are between 50-60)
- £26.50 Night out pay per night (Tax-free)
- 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays which will increase after 2 years’ service by one day per year, up to a maximum of 27 days plus bank holidays.
