Part time - 2/3 days one day will be Saturday
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing tests and evaluations on patients
- Assess and diagnose hearing and balance disorders
- Recommend and fit hearing aids or other assistive devices
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss management
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology research and technology
Requirements:
- HCPC registered as an HAD
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to the auditory system
- Familiarity with medical terminology used in audiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Microsuction experience
- Dispensing hearing aid experience
