Healthcare Assistant

Location: Daventry, NN11

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.00

Shifts: Full & Part time Days & Nights | 12-hour shifts

Meet Our Client

A lovely lady in her 20’s who enjoys a range of activities to fill her day.

She loves massages, having her nails painted, listening to stories, and watching her favourite TV show, The Simpsons. Spending time outdoors is also important to her, and she would love to go for walks in her wheelchair to enjoy the fresh air again.

Sensory activities are a big part of her daily routine, including sensory lights and music.

Our client is currently in a care setting in the NG22 area, and candidates will need to travel there for initial training and shadow shifts before their transition home to Daventry. Travel expenses for this period will be reimbursed

You will role will involve providing personal care and managing her clinical interventions throughout the day, as well as overnight monitoring to ensure her comfort and safety.

You will also participate in daily activities that she enjoys, encouraging her engagement.

What You’ll Need

• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
• Valid UK Driving Licence
