Job Summary As a Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care within a care home environment. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong leadership skills and experience. The Team Leader will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented, and fostering a supportive atmosphere for both residents and team members.
Duties
- Ensure support staff in delivering exceptional care to residents, ensuring their dignity and wellbeing are upheld.
- Staff onboarding process
- Inductions
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in senior care and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the team.
- Liaise with families, and healthcare professions.
- Office compliance data
- Supervisions/spot checks
- Care plans/ risk assessments
- Staff competencies
- Monthly Audits
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care home or senior care setting is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties.
