Job description – Care Assistant (Nights)

The Role:
As a Care Assistant, you will report to the Senior Care Assistant or Registered Nurse and will support with all aspects of care within the home. You will provide high quality care to residents, paying attention to their specific and individual needs.

You will:
Ensure individuals are at the heart of care delivery and that their wishes and
preferences enhance their wellbeing
- To contribute to the efficient running of the service
- Support individuals to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
- Ensure personal plans and other information about how to support individuals are followed
- Be responsible for informing the Senior Carer/Nurse of any changes in the needs of individuals
- Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
You will be:

- Qualified in or working towards an NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care
