Job summary

College Road Surgery is looking to employ a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our busy but friendly medical practice. This is on a permanent contact, full-time basis working 37 hours per week.

Please note that the salary of this job is dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in:

Candidates should also be able to follow instructions and procedures, have good communication skills including listening, organisation skills and also observational skills.

Main duties of the job

Working under the direct supervision of the GP Partners/Practice Nurses and strictly in accordance with specific College Road Surgery Practice guidelines and protocols, the Healthcare Assistant will assist the Practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care. In addition the Healthcare Assistant will undertake administrative tasks related to patient care and the delivery of identified practice targets.

Our Health Partnership was set up by local GPs who are passionate about providing high quality primary care and using their time and skills effectively to benefit patients.

We are currently a GP partnership of 30 practices with 39 sites, serving around 280,000 patients in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and Shropshire.
