Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Glencarron Nursing Home in South Armagh. In this vital role, you will contribute significantly to the well-being of our residents by providing high-quality personal care and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Support the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents.
- Assist with medication administration as directed by nursing staff.
- Foster positive relationships with residents to promote their emotional well-being.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of care plans and home care practices is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English is required.
