We have fantastic opportunities for Health Care Assistants to join our domiciliary care company working in Wiltshire (Malbrough) and surrounding areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet;
- Utilising equipment to move patients when necessary;
- Helping tidy the patient’s home or room;
- Talking to patients and reassuring them;
- Attending meetings with other healthcare professionals;
- Assisting other staff when needed;
- Adhering to professional standards; and
- Recording daily notes, medications and other risk based observations on One plan software (training will be given);
- Reporting to the Senior Health Care Assistant and Manager any important changes in the patient’s condition.
You should be naturally caring, reliable, hardworking, patient and flexible. The following skills are desirable:
- A caring, reliable, and respectful attitude
- Good communication and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Right to work in the UK is essential – Please note: We are not offering Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) or visa switch options at this time.
- Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle and a valid UK driving licence – This is essential as the role involves travelling between clients.
- Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential – full training will be provide.
