The Role:
As Head Receptionist, you'll be the go-to person for our reception team and the face of the hotel for our guests. You’ll play a hands-on role while also working closely with senior management to improve the guest journey, team performance, and daily operations.
Your job will include:
- Leading by example at reception and being a visible, positive presence in the hotel
- Supporting, training, and motivating reception staff
- Handling guest feedback in a calm, professional, and solutions-focused way
- Coordinating with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Managing bookings and front desk systems (previous PMS experience preferred)
- Taking initiative to solve problems and improve processes
- Duty Manager Shifts - After training
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous reception or front-of-house experience in a hotel or similar environment
- Strong communicator with a natural flair for guest service
- Someone who thrives on responsibility and is looking to step into a more senior role
- Confident using hotel booking systems and dealing with day-to-day admin
- Professional, organised, and calm under pressure
This role would suit someone currently working as a Receptionist or Senior Receptionist who's ready to take that next step into management and develop towards a Front Office Manager role in the future.
