The vacancy
Reporting to the Director of Customer Services, you’ll lead four critical services: Neighbourhoods, Lettings, and ASB. Your leadership will ensure our services not only meet but exceed regulatory standards, deliver exceptional customer satisfaction, and create real impact in our communities.
You’ll develop and implement neighbourhood action plans and innovative interventions using a systems thinking approach – all while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks like the Regulator of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards and Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs).
Key responsibilities
Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams
Drive continuous service improvement through data, insight, and customer feedback
Develop policies, systems, and KPIs to strengthen delivery and accountability
Build strong partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies
Ensure legal, regulatory, and safeguarding compliance across your service areas
Play a key role in shaping FCHO’s “Thriving Communities” agenda

Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate:
- Has a full UK driving licence
Has substantial experience managing multi-disciplinary housing teams (Neighbourhoods, Lettings, ASB, etc.)
Holds a CIH Level 5 Diploma (or equivalent/willingness to complete), with in-depth knowledge of relevant housing legislation
Has strong strategic and analytical skills and is able to turn insight into action
Has excellent people and performance management expertise
Has a track record of creating and delivering customer-centric services
Has vast experience of budget management and policy development
