We are supporting a growing financial services firm preparing to become a UK-licensed bank. They’re now hiring a Head of Operational Risk to embed and put into practice an established Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF / ORF) as they move into their next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embed the existing Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) across the business
- Lead and manage the RCSA process - identify, assess, and monitor key operational risks
- Support delivery of the Operational Resilience strategy, including scenario testing and risk mapping
- Develop and implement supporting policies, procedures, and controls
- Promote strong risk culture and work closely with senior stakeholders
What You’ll Need:
- Proven Operational Risk experience within financial services or banking
- Strong understanding of RCSA and Operational Resilience
- Ability to translate frameworks into day-to-day practice
- Confident drafting and rolling out policies and procedures
- Experience working in a regulated environment (PRA/FCA)
