Head of High Speed Built Environment Maintenance

The role

Are you an expert facilities management generalist, comfortable with dealing with building services engineering whilst being able to turn your hand to soft services, managing complex capital delivery and retail fit out projects along the way?

Network Rail (High Speed) currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FM leader to join the team and make a difference to everybody who works on, and uses the HS1 network - the 109km railway that connects the UK to Europe.

Responsible for the built environment of the iconic Grade 1 listed St Pancras International Station, as well as two other stations on the route (and a number of depot and ancillary locations) we’re looking for somebody who can play a key role in our Infrastructure Leadership Team, lead our Built Environment Maintenance Function, and set and manage a budget of circa £20m per annum.

You’ll need experience in client, stakeholder, and contractor management, a solid understanding of working within the constraints of a heritage environment, and the tenacity to deal with multiple conflicting priorities.

If you think this sounds like the kind of challenge you’re up for, why not apply today, or speak to our Infrastructure Director, Mike Brinkley ([email protected])
