We’re looking for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead this critical function. This is more than a finance role - it’s an opportunity to shape the financial future of one of the UK’s most respected charities, ensuring every pound raised is used to maximum effect.
Your impact:
As a key member of the Finance and Corporate Services leadership team, you will:
- Lead the RNLI’s financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Provide expert financial insight to support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
- Manage and inspire a team of finance professionals and business partners to deliver high-quality analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leaders to shape and deliver the RNLI’s financial strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and transparency.
What you bring:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in FP&A or commercial finance.
- A proven track record in financial planning, complex modelling, and business partnering within a large or complex organisation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at Executive and Board level.
- A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to balance detail with big-picture thinking.
