As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to health regulations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: £12.40-£13.47 per hour
