Job Overview
We are looking for someone to lead our team of Baristas in our new Winchester branch. We are in the process of building a team of passionate and enthusiastic staff who will need an equally passionate and enthusiastic Head Barista! Our shops are a mix of retail and hospitality and previous experience is essential. You need to have a passion for coffee and an eagerness for staying up to date with the latest trends. We want to build on our excellent reputation as an independent, eco-friendly brand who serve speciality coffee that is locally roasted.
Responsibilities
- Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and perfectly extracted coffees and beverages.
- Managing and training a team of Baristas to ensure coffees are consistently well-crafted.
- Oversee food preparation processes to guarantee compliance with food safety regulations.
- Ensuring that the store is clean, safe and presentable for customers.
- Maintain inventory control and ensure proper stock levels.
- Providing excellent customer service.
Experience
- Experience as a Barista in a fast paced environment is essential.
- An understanding of food safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Leadership experience is preferable but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
