As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and experienced Head Baker to join our team.
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and taste. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
- Assist in the training of junior kitchen staff in baking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Conduct quality checks on baked products to ensure consistency in flavour, texture, and appearance.

- Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques.
- Experience in food preparation within a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

- Previous experience in food production or restaurant settings is advantageous.
