We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Person. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills to handle various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. Duties
- Perform maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and groundwork, including cleaning and upkeep of grounds and exterior cleaning.
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues that need attention.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while performing tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Experience
- Proven experience in a similar Handy Man role or relevant trade is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance practices and techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
