Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated hammerhand/labourer to join our team for refurbishment project. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on construction/refurbishment site.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse. You'll be involved in preparing worksites, laying out tools and materials, and loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Whilst also providing general support to the team of carpenters.
Start date: Monday 21st July
Duties
- Assist with the general day to day work on the site
- Assist with painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance of completed work.
- Undertake heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Own transport essential.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hammerhand or in a similar role within the construction industry, minimum 2 years
- Valid CSCS card required
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and stand for long periods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
