Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair cutting, styling, and colouring services tailored to individual client needs.
- Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable products or services, effectively upselling when appropriate.
- Assist in front desk operations including appointment scheduling, client check-in/check-out, and managing customer inquiries.
- Mentor junior stylists or trainees, sharing your knowledge and skills to foster their professional development.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain store management standards, contributing to a positive work environment.
Skills
- Proficient in barbering techniques and hair styling methods.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience in front desk operations is advantageous for managing appointments and client relations.
- Ability to mentor others, providing guidance and support to less experienced staff members.
- Familiarity with eyelash extension application and makeup techniques is a plus.
