Summary
As a Guest Service Assistant at Garner an IHG Hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with exceptional service and support throughout their stay. This role is vital in creating memorable experiences that align with our mission of hospitality excellence.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
- Provide information about hotel services and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the front desk area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
