Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Groundworker . This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our projects, requiring a blend of mechanical knowledge and practical experience with heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Must have experience in Ducting, Drainage, Kerbing edging.
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on-site.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as required for various projects.
Qualifications
- CPCS/NPORS CSCS Card
- A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting equipment as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
