Overview
We are seeking a skilled Block Paving Specialist to join our team. This role involves the installation and maintenance of block paving for various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site.
Responsibilities
- Install block paving in accordance with project specifications and design plans, Flag stones, kerbs and all aspects of backend Groundworks
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage the preparation of the site, including excavation and sub-base preparation.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure efficient operation.
- Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in training new staff members on best practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in block paving kerbing and flagging needed for this role.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driving licence is essential for travel between job sites.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £18.00-£19.00 per hour
