Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to groundworks, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices.
Duties
- Carry out excavation and groundwork tasks, including digging trenches and laying foundations.
- Assist in the installation of drainage systems and other utilities.
- Operate machinery such as diggers and compactors when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundworks or a related field is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction environments.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques relevant to the role.
