Dovetail Group (UK) are recruiting for a full time Groundsperson to undertake general grounds/caretaker duties for a well known national client. The work is primarily on a group of residential outdoor spaces throughout the Central and Greater London area.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of our client's premises - to the highest standards at all times.
Duties ranging from:
- Perform basic preventative maintenance, including lubrication of locks and hinges, cleaning of service bollards, signs and lighting columns and smart meters.
- Litter collection and waste clearance from outdoor communal spaces including waterways/canals.
- Sweeping of hard surfaces and steps.
- Some minor vegetation removal from steps and walls.
- Pressure washing hard surfaces.
- Some cleaning of toilet blocks and general upkeep may be required.
Person Specification:
- Grounds experience preferred but not essential.
- Good positive communicator, as work will be on residential sites with customers/clients.
- Ability to work independently, while managing vital communication with line manager.
- Diligent and thorough outlook to work.
- Working days will be Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- 7am - 4pm with an hour unpaid break.
- £13.50 per hour.
- Company van and equipment will be provided.
