Grounds Maintenance Operative
£27,254 - £28,598 per annum | Full Time | Permanent
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the maintenance of Council owned land across the district, including the cutting of grass and hedges, maintaining of flower beds, litter picking and clearing of footpaths. They must be able to work on their own initiative whilst also being able to follow both written and verbal instructions from their supervisor.
It will be their responsibility to ensure that all machinery and equipment are kept in a good working condition and that all logs are completed in relation to fuel and mileage, whilst ensuring all health and safety guidelines are being met.
It is essential that the postholder retains a full manual driving licence to be able to fulfil the needs of this job role.
