Job Summary
As a Greenkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our course and equipment. This position requires a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude, utilising various tools and equipment to maintain the greens, fairways, bunkers and rough areas. You will report directly to the Head Greenkeeper and carry out tasks safely in line with club policies.
Duties
- Course set up as requested by the Head Greenkeeper, including mowing playing surfaces, changing holes and raking bunkers together with any in-house project work.
- Daily machinery preparation and basic maintenance.
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Dig holes for planting new trees or shrubs as needed.
- Maintaining areas around the clubhouse and carpark as part of a team
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Full Training will be given as appropriate.
Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Team player.
- Previous Greenkeeping knowledge and experience required.
- Proficient in operating specialist Greens, Tees, Fairway and Roughs Machines.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shears as well as power tools like lawnmowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Takes a pride in completing tasks to the highest standards

Pay: £25,500.00-£29,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Weekend availability.
