Purpose of the job:
We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Goods Out Administrator / Clerk to join our team. This pivotal role is primarily focused on preparing and managing all necessary paperwork for the accurate and timely despatch of parts and goods.
In addition to administrative duties, the role may also involve hands-on support with packing items and stock control, depending on business requirements. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of office-based and practical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare all paperwork for goods despatch, including delivery notes, shipping labels, and transport manifests
- Coordinate with goods out team, couriers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate filing systems and records
- Track deliveries and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Assist with packing goods for despatch when required
- Support stock control processes, including stock checks and inventory accuracy
- Report any discrepancies or delays in shipments
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a logistics, warehousing, or administrative role (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and data entry
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable using standard office software (MS Word, Excel)
- Flexible and willing to assist with physical tasks when required
- A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset
