Job Title: Senior Warehouse Assistant
Reports to: Line Manager
Job Purpose
To Support the Goods in Manager with the day to day running of the department and to deputize in their absence. To deliver the Centre’s profitability targets through effective and efficient stock control combined with accurate administration. To exceed customer expectations through a well trained and customer focused delivery team. To maximize all sales opportunities through swift and accurate checking of stock into the Centre by releasing it to the Department Managers in a controlled & timely fashion.

- Responsible for the health and safety of colleagues and customers.
Customer :
- Actively implements ‘You Make the Difference’ ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- Supports all other departments, including Customer Service and restaurant when required.
- Always displays a professional image by wearing clean, neatly pressed company issue uniform.
- Housekeeping standards are maintained to company requirements at all times.
- Customer queries and complaints are handled efficiently and professionally at all times.
- Participates in any relevant training session as encouraged by the Line Manager.
- Pro-actively shares product knowledge and best practice with other colleagues.
- Ensures the maintenance of an accurate stock control system.
- Ensures correct and safe handling of product to avoid damage.
- Ensures accurate checking of all deliveries that are processed through Goods In and raises correct paperwork to adjust discrepancies.
- Maintains stock rotation for relevant products.
- Maintains effective storage of products to maximise efficiency of stock handling.
- Is aware of the company security policy and reacts accordingly so as to minimize losses both internally and externally.
- To provide support and assistance with stock-takes.
- Fully complies with legislation and company policy on the usage of vehicles and equipment e.g. Forklift Truck, Pallet Truck, and Step Ladders etc.
- Fully complies with the Company’s health and safety policy.
- Informs Duty Manager immediately of any health and safety issues.
