We’ve an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our GMP Team in Leeds, West Yorkshire as a GMP QA Associate. This temporary role will be a fixed term contract for up to 12 months (Maternity Cover).
The ideal candidate will have at least basic QA knowledge in GMP and/or medical device production.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Experience and/or ability to write clear and concise reports
- GMP/medical device production experience
- Some experience in a clinical environment or background in Microbiology, Chemistry or similar life science would be an advantage
- Good attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
- Good interpersonal skills
- Very good skills with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel)
- Sufficient initiative to be able to work alone and with a team
Main Responsibilities
- Supporting the GMP QC Manager to maintain compliance within the GMP Production Facility.
- QC checks of clothing, cleaning materials and other GMP consumables and materials used in the GMP Production Unit, involved in Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) manufacture.
- Ensuring actions arising from Events, CAPAs, Risk Assessments, Self- Inspections and meeting minutes are followed up to completion.
- Assisting in the completion and closure of corrective and preventative actions
- Review and approval of completed production documentation
- Completion of Self-Inspections
