The Old Mill Gift Centre, West Looe are announcing our job position availability for the Summer period.
We are looking for a hard working, friendly gift shop assistant to work MAXIMUM 40 hours per week (4-5 shifts on peak weeks) over school holiday periods in our gift shop based near the Millpool car park.
Shifts will mostly be in July and August with training starting this month (JUNE)
Successful applicant's hours (time of day and length) will vary as we do like to work as a team to fulfil the hours needed between 9.30am-9.30pm.
Shift patterns are as follows: June, varying for training. Early July, 09:30-17:30 and 12:30-20:15. Mid July- first week of Sep, 09:30-17:00, 11:00-18:30 and 14:00-21:15. You will be required to work a fair share of weekends.
Rotas will be shared as far in advance as possible so staff are able to plan their working week. If you would like to discuss this further please do get in touch or mention it in your application as I am able to take certain time issues into account.
We are looking for candidates of all ages (minimum 16) and abilities as training will be provided but candidates would have a can-do attitude, be a team player and have a friendly demeanor. The applicant will should be flexible for the above shift patterns and definitely reliable.
The successful applicant will preferably have used an epos system before, although full training will be given for the right candidate.
This position would possibly suit a uni student or college student who are home during the school holidays or perhaps an adult who would like to work a few hours over the year with a friendly team.
Training to ideally start as soon as possible.

Pay: £7.55-£12.60 per hour
