Main Activities/Responsibilities:
- As a general Operative your duties may include working in any department across the site: Prep, Powder Coating, Assembly or Despatch, you will be provided with suitable training etc. for any department you are required to work in.
- Manufacture equipment and medical products using various hand tools and machinery, including industrial ovens.
- Complete Daily Worksheets/Performance Trackers where applicable
- Maintain discipline within the department you are working
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are observed within the department – manual handling, basic first aid, risk assessment and E-learning
- Report any damaged equipment to relevant personnel
- Participate in continual training and development across the product range
- Participate in site wide initiatives such as 5s, continual Improvement projects etc.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace, not just in your assigned department but anywhere you are requested to work.
- Any other duties in line with the demands of the business
- A degree of flexibility is needed as shift time could occasionally change to high/low volumes
