General Duties Cleaner / Facilities Support

Noon shift or Nights - hours negotiable
Job Purpose
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment, with a focus on the mechanical workshop, car park areas, and welfare facilities.
Support daily operations of the business by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and site presentation, including general gardening duties and assisting with forklift operations as required.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and maintain workshop floors and surfaces.
Clean workshop equipment and workstations where appropriate.
Waste Management: Empty bins, replace liners and recycle as required. Ensure safe removal of waste materials and offcuts from mechanical workshop areas.
Restocking: Ensure consumables such as soap, toilet roll, and paper towels are refilled.
Reporting: Inform management of any hazards, repairs needed, or low stock on supplies.
Health and Safety Compliance: Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.

- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial or industrial environment
Basic understanding of COSHH and safe chemical use
