We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Liverpool, L3
Who are we?
Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
You’ll play a key part in delivering our breakfast and lunch service, which includes an exciting mix of international dishes, street food, pop-up breakfasts and freshly baked cakes. Throughout the year, we also host a range of events from BBQs to canapés a degree of flexibility will be required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To help the chef and Chef Manager with food preparation.
- To ensure the counters and front of house are maintained to the highest standards, in terms of presentation and cleanliness.
- To be willing to undertake any training to enhance the role as necessary.
- To ensure crockery and cutlery are clean and highly polished.
- To advise the customers on the menu choice of the day and serve food appropriately.
- To develop good customer relations, promoting good customer care to enhance the customer experience in the restaurant.

Organised, with a good eye for cleanliness and detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to follow hygiene and food safety standards
Ideally experienced in a similar catering role (but full training will be provided)
