Join Aramark UK as a General Service Assistant – Defence Sector
Location: Royal Military Academy Sandhurst
Aramark UK is currently seeking a dedicated and versatile General Service Assistant to join our essential team within the Defence sector at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
In this dynamic role, you’ll support a variety of operational tasks including:
- Kitchen portering
- Customer service and till operation
- Dining area cleaning
- Bar service
- Waiting on customers
Flexibility and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service are key. You’ll report directly to the General Manager on site.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have been resident in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

- We are offering a part time, permanent position. You will be working 35 hours a week over a variety of 5 days including every other weekend. Shift times range between 5am and 9pm.
- The hourly rate is £12.21.

A day in the life of a General Service Assistant:
- You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
- Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
- Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
- For this role you must be 18+.
- Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.
- Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
