Discover the role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Assistant to join our small hospitality team. The successful candidate will need to have a genuine interest in delivering customer service excellence, have a can do attitude and have a willingness to lend a hand to the various hotel departments.
What you’ll be doing
- Meeting and greeting guests and providing assistance with luggage
- Assisting with the breakfast set up and service
- Helping the housekeeping department service rooms
- Assisting in the still room with polishing cutlery and crockery
- Working down in the pool house during busy service times

- Stays calm under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Has a real sense of passion and pride for the brand and restaurant
- Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Presented to a high standard

Can I get to Lympstone Manor via public transport?
- You can take the coastal train from Exeter St. Davids or Exeter Central train stations, take the Exmouth train and exit at Lympstone village. It is a 15 minute walk to Lympstone Manor from the train station.
Do I need the right to work in the UK?
- In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.
