Role: Gatehouse Banksman / Security Gatehouse
Hours: 36 hours per week - Monday - Wednesday from 07:00 - 19:00
Location: Longridge Road, Preston
Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience

The role: We are looking for an experienced gatehouse bankman to join our established team based in Preston.
Key responsibilities:
- Outdoor banksman duties for the front entrance to site.
- Meet and greet visitors to site and direct them to the relevant department.
- Liaise with HGV drivers and direct them
- Responsible for answering the security phone and dealing promptly with any security related issues.
- Accepting parcels and distributing post.
- Responsible for ensuring the safe opening and closing of site, including the locking up of all offices.
- Dealing with CCTV requests.
- Being a key contact for any general queries onsite.
- Dealing with customer requests and directing customers as needed.
- This is an active role which requires you to be mobile throughout the shift.
- Perform regular site patrols
The ideal candidate:
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- SIA and CCTV qualifications is desirable.
- Computer literate
- Previous experience of using CCTV would be beneficial.
- A friendly, polite approach. Previous experience in a front of house or customer serving role would be ideal.
- A can-do, positive attitude to work.
- Flexibility approach to work
- Availability for additional hours / shifts if and when required.
